Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act
The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act is a US law signed by President Bill Clinton on May 26, 1994, which prohibits the use of physical force, threat of physical force, or physical obstruction to intimidate or interfere with individuals obtaining abortions or exercising religious freedom at places of worship, as well as the intentional damage or destruction of reproductive health care facilities or places of worship. The law was enacted in response to an increase in violent crimes committed against abortion providers and clinics between 1978 and 1993, including murders, bombings, arsons, and death threats. The Army of God, an anti-abortion group, was responsible for many of these violent acts, including the 1993 murder of Dr. David Gunn.learn more on wikipedia
