F-15
The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle is a twin-engine, all-weather fighter aircraft designed by McDonnell Douglas, now part of Boeing. It was selected by the US Air Force in 1969 to meet the service's need for a dedicated air superiority fighter and first flew in July 1972, entering service in 1976. The F-15 has been exported to several countries, including Israel, Japan, and Saudi Arabia, and has been used in various roles, including air superiority and ground attack. The aircraft has been highly successful, with over 100 victories and no losses in aerial combat, and has been upgraded and modified over the years, including the development of the F-15E Strike Eagle. The US Air Force had planned to replace the F-15 with the F-22 Raptor, but will instead operate the F-15EX Eagle II until 2026 and continue to operate the F-15E Strike Eagle into the 2030s.learn more on wikipedia
