Eurasian Plate
The Eurasian plate is a tectonic plate that encompasses most of Eurasia, excluding the Arabian Peninsula, the Indian subcontinent, and a portion of eastern Siberia. It borders the North American plate and Nubian plate at the Azores triple junction, and its western edge extends to the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. The Eurasian plate also meets the Anatolian sub-plate and the Arabian plate, where the Anatolian sub-plate is being squeezed by the collision between the Eurasian and Arabian plates. The plate's boundary with the North American plate in the area around Japan is considered "shifty" and has been subject to varying interpretations, with some studies suggesting a quadruple junction and others indicating a division within the Eurasian plate. The Eurasian plate is responsible for volcanic eruptions in Iceland and has interacted with the Indian plate to form the Himalayas mountain range.learn more on wikipedia
