Etruscan

The Etruscan civilization was an ancient civilization that flourished in what is now modern-day Tuscany, western Umbria, and northern Lazio, as well as parts of the Po Valley, Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy, Veneto, and Campania. The Etruscans were an indigenous population who developed a distinct culture and writing system from around 900 BC, with their earliest known inscriptions dating to around 700 BC.
