Elmendorf Air Force Base

Elmendorf Air Force Base is a United States Air Force facility in Anchorage, Alaska, that was originally known as Elmendorf Field and became a base after World War II. It is the home of the Headquarters, Alaskan Air Command, Alaskan NORAD Region, Eleventh Air Force, and other units, and its mission is to support and defend U.S. interests in the Asia-Pacific region and worldwide.
