Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is a wrought-iron lattice tower located on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France, named after engineer Gustave Eiffel. It was constructed as the centerpiece of the 1889 World's Fair and was initially criticized for its design, but has since become a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The tower is 330 meters tall, with a base that is square and measures 125 meters on each side, and has three levels for visitors, including restaurants on the first and second levels.
