Dubai Expo
Expo 2020 was a World Expo hosted by Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, after being postponed from its original dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event drew over 24 million visitors and was expected to bring in a gross value added of Dh154.9 billion to the UAE's economy from 2013 to 2042. The Expo site, which spanned 438 hectares, featured a central plaza, three thematic districts, and various amenities, including a hotel and emergency centre, and was connected to Dubai by metro, shuttle buses, and taxis.
