Death Valley National Park is a national park located on the California-Nevada border, which occupies an interface zone between the arid Great Basin and Mojave deserts. The park is the largest in the contiguous United States, the hottest, driest, and lowest of all national parks, and contains Badwater Basin, the second-lowest point in the Western Hemisphere.
