Dayton Agreement

The Dayton Agreement, also known as the Dayton Accords, was a peace agreement reached on November 21, 1995, and formally signed on December 14, 1995, which ended the three-and-a-half-year-long Bosnian War, part of the Yugoslav Wars. The agreement created a single sovereign state, Bosnia and Herzegovina, composed of two entities: the Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
