Darth Vader

Darth Vader is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, introduced as a major villain and leader of the Galactic Empire in the original film trilogy. He was a Jedi Knight named Anakin Skywalker who was lured to the dark side of the Force by Chancellor Palpatine and transformed into a Sith Lord. After a lightsaber battle with Obi-Wan Kenobi, Vader was severely injured and transformed into a cyborg. He served Palpatine for over two decades, hunting down the remaining Jedi and attempting to crush the Rebel Alliance. Vader turned against Palpatine after he tried to kill his son Luke Skywalker, and ultimately destroyed him.
