Dachau

Dachau concentration camp was one of the first concentration camps built by Nazi Germany, opening on March 22, 1933, and was the longest-running one, operating until April 1945. The camp was initially intended to hold Hitler's political opponents, but its purpose was later expanded to include forced labor, imprisonment of Jews, Romani, and other groups, and eventually, foreign nationals from occupied countries.
