Cocos Keeling Islands

The Cocos (Keeling) Islands are an Australian external territory in the Indian Ocean, consisting of two atolls made up of 27 coral islands, with a population of around 600 people. The islands have a dual name, Cocos Islands or Keeling Islands, and are inhabited by Cocos Malays, who mostly practice Sunni Islam and speak a dialect of Malay.
