Chichen Itza

Chichen Itza was a large pre-Columbian city built by the Maya people in the Terminal Classic period, located in the Yucatan State, Mexico. The site exhibits a multitude of architectural styles, influenced by central Mexico and the Puuc and Chenes styles of the Northern Maya lowlands, due to cultural diffusion.
