Boeing 747

The Boeing 747 is a long-range wide-body airliner designed and manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes from 1968 to 2023. It was the first wide-body airliner and was originally designed to accommodate 366 passengers. The 747 has a pronounced wing sweep and four main landing gear legs, and its initial variants were powered by Pratt & Whitney JT9D turbofan engines.
