B-52 bombers

The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress is an American long-range, subsonic, jet-powered strategic bomber designed and built by Boeing. It has been operated by the United States Air Force (USAF) since 1955 and NASA for nearly 50 years. The bomber has a typical combat range of around 8,800 miles without aerial refueling and can carry up to 70,000 pounds of weapons. It has been in service for over 60 years, despite the development of more advanced strategic bombers. The B-52 has a unique nickname, the BUFF (Big Ugly Fat Fucker/Fella), and has completed 60 years of continuous service with its original operator in 2015.
