Art of the Deal
Donald Trump's 1987 book "The Art of the Deal" is a memoir and business-advice book that reached number 1 on The New York Times Best Seller list. The book is credited to Trump and journalist Tony Schwartz, who wrote the book for $250,000 upfront and was given half of the royalties. Schwartz has since stated that Trump did not write the book, but rather dictated its contents, and has even suggested that the book should be recategorized as fiction. The book provides a behind-the-scenes look at Trump's business dealings, including the development of the Grand Hyatt Hotel and Trump Tower, and contains an 11-step formula for business success inspired by Norman Vincent Peale's "The Power of Positive Thinking". Trump has cited the book as one of his proudest accomplishments and has given conflicting accounts of his level of involvement in its writing.learn more on wikipedia
