Arnold Palmer Regional Airport

The Arnold Palmer Regional Airport is a public airport located in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, two miles southwest of Latrobe and 33 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. It was formerly known as Westmoreland County Airport before being renamed in 1999 to honor Arnold Palmer, a golf legend who grew up nearby and learned to fly at the airport. The airport has undergone significant growth since Spirit Airlines began serving it in 2011, with passenger traffic increasing from 10,000 in 2010 to 310,000 in 2019. The airport currently serves one city in Florida and one city in South Carolina with nonstop flights, and has undergone recent renovations, including a $13 million project to widen the main runway.learn more on wikipedia
