Army Field Manual

As of July 2007, the US Army had 542 field manuals in use, but starting in 2010, the army began reviewing and revising all its doctrinal publications, replacing many field manuals with Army Doctrine Publications (ADP) and Army Doctrine Reference Publications (ADRP). Not all field manuals were rescinded, with 50 select ones continuing to be published and periodically reviewed and revised.
