Angeles National Forest

The Angeles National Forest is a 700,176-acre forest located in the San Gabriel Mountains and Sierra Pelona Mountains, primarily in Los Angeles County, California. It was established in 1908 and manages a majority of the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument. The forest covers a total of 1,094 square miles and protects large areas of the San Gabriel Mountains and Sierra Pelona Mountains.
