Al-Bureij Camp

The Bureij refugee camp is a Palestinian camp located in the central Gaza Strip, established in 1949 with a population of 13,000 refugees. As of 2017, the camp had a population of 28,024 with 28,770 registered refugees, and is characterized by densely populated buildings, lack of a sewage system, and reliance on an Israeli water company for most of its water supply.
