Airbus A320
The Airbus A320 family is a series of narrow-body airliners produced by Airbus, launched in 1984 and first introduced by Air France in April 1988. The family consists of the A318, A319, A320, and A321, with the first member being the A318, followed by the A319, A321, and then the A320. The aircraft are produced in four main assembly lines in Toulouse, Hamburg, Tianjin, and Mobile, Alabama, and feature a six-abreast economy cross-section with either CFM56 or IAE V2500 turbofan engines. The family has undergone several updates, including the introduction of the A320neo in 2016, which offers up to 15% better fuel economy. As of 2024, a total of 18,687 A320 family aircraft have been ordered, with 11,618 delivered and 10,738 in service with over 350 operators, surpassing the Boeing 737 as the highest-selling airliner.learn more on wikipedia
