AUKUS

The AUKUS trilateral security partnership is a collaboration between Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States to promote a secure and stable Indo-Pacific region. The partnership involves two main efforts, known as pillars, including the acquisition of nuclear-powered attack submarines by Australia and the rotational basing of US and UK submarines in Australia, as well as the development of advanced capabilities in six technological areas and two broader functional areas.
