2K12 Kub

The 2K12 "Kub" is a Soviet mobile surface-to-air missile system designed to protect ground forces from air attack. It consists of a radar vehicle, transporter erector launchers, and trucks carrying spare missiles and a crane. The system was developed after 1958 with the goal of engaging aerial targets flying at speeds of 420-600 m/s at altitudes of 100-7,000 m at ranges up to 20 km.
