Zelensky unveils victory plan in bid to end Russia-Ukraine conflict

Volodymyr Zelensky presented a five-point "victory plan" to the Ukrainian parliament, outlining a strategy to end the war with Russia by next year. The plan includes: an unconditional invitation to join NATO, lifting restrictions on long-range strikes on Russia by allies, increased Western assistance, a Western role in developing Ukraine's natural mineral resources, and a proposal to replace US troops in Europe with Ukrainian units after the war. However, the Kremlin dismissed the plan, with a spokesman saying Kiev needs to "sober up". Zelensky's allies have responded with a lukewarm response, and the plan's effectiveness is yet to be seen.
