Zelensky Fires Bodyguard Chief Following Foiled Assassination Plot

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently published a decree dismissing Sergiy Leonidovich Rud from his position as head of the State Protection Department, responsible for Zelensky's personal protection. The decree did not provide a reason for Rud's removal or name a replacement to fill the highly sensitive position.
