World's largest iceberg runs aground, sparing crucial wildlife haven

The A23a iceberg has been drifting northwards from Antarctica towards South Georgia island since 2020, raising concerns it could collide with the island or run aground in shallower water. As of the latest information available, the iceberg is approximately 73 kilometers away from the island.
