Woman's body recovered from Pennsylvania sinkhole after 4-day search

Elizabeth Pollard, a 64-year-old woman, went missing while searching for her cat, Pepper. Her car, which had her granddaughter sleeping inside, was found near a sinkhole in Unity Township, Pittsburgh. The sinkhole was reported to have opened above an abandoned mine. Pollard's body was found approximately 30 feet underground, near the mine. An autopsy was performed on the body by the Coroner's Office.
