Woman accused of poisoning baby to increase online following and solicit donations

A 34-year-old woman has been accused of administering poison to a child with intent to harm, as well as making child exploitation material and committing fraud. Authorities claim she used unauthorized medications to induce medical distress in the child. The woman allegedly photographed and filmed the child's pain to solicit funds online. The charges she is facing can carry sentences of between 5 and 20 years of imprisonment.
