Vladimir Putin offers citizenship to foreigners who join the Russian military

Russian President Vladimir V. Putin has approved a measure making it easier for foreigners to obtain Russian citizenship if they enlist in the army amid the war in Ukraine. Under the decree, foreigners who sign a one-year contract with the Russian Army can apply for Russian citizenship under a fast-track procedure.
