Ukraine announces two more deaths in Russian drone strike in Odesa
On Sunday, there were multiple reports of attacks in different areas of Ukraine. In Odesa, a residential apartment block was hit by a Russian drone strike, resulting in the deaths of at least ten people, including a mother and her three-month-old baby, a 3-year-old, and several other individuals. Two women were injured in what was described as a "massive missile attack" in a residential area. Elsewhere, five people were injured by Russian shelling in Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast. The Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, called on Western allies to increase Ukraine's air defense capabilities following the attacks. Previously, it was reported that another young baby had been killed after falling debris from an Iranian-made drone hit an apartment building. The exact death toll and details of the incidents may vary slightly between sources.
