Ukraine adopts law to ban Moscow-linked Orthodox Church

The Ukrainian parliament has passed a law that prohibits religious organizations with ties to Russia, a move aimed at curbing spiritual links with the country. The law, which needs to be signed by President Volodymyr Zelensky to come into force, targets religious organizations affiliated with Russia, including the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which was formerly under the Moscow Patriarchate.
