US transfers seized Iranian-made weapons to Ukraine

The United States has provided Ukraine with thousands of infantry weapons and over half a million rounds of ammunition as part of its ongoing support for Kyiv's efforts to retake territory occupied by Russia. This latest military assistance was transferred last week, but Democratic President Joe Biden has been prevented from providing additional weaponry due to Republican opposition in the House. The weapons were previously intercepted between 2021 and 2023 while being transported to Houthi forces in Yemen.
