US Vice President Harris Warns Against Israeli Assault on Rafah in Middle East Conflict

Vice President Kamala Harris has warned against a potential Israeli military operation in Rafah, southern Gaza, stating that it would be a "huge mistake" and could result in consequences for Israel. This warning comes as Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and another delegation are currently in Washington to address concerns from the US administration. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken have also met with the Israeli officials. Harris declined to speculate on whether or not Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu would actually carry out such an assault.
