US Tariff Threat Against BRIC Bloc

US President-elect Donald Trump has issued threats against the BRICS nations, a group of emerging economies including Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. Trump has warned that if the BRICS nations create a new currency to rival the US dollar, he will impose 100% tariffs on their goods, effectively blocking their access to the US market. The tariffs threat is also directed at other countries that have applied to join the BRICS alliance, including Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Malaysia.
