Immigration to the US
US Senate unveils US$118 billion bipartisan Bill on border security with aid for Ukraine, Israel
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said he would take steps to hold a first vote on the bill on Wednesday. Some progressive Democrats are angry that the measure does nothing to provide a path to citizenship for the 11 million undocumented people who have lived in the U.S. for many years.
