US Couple Celebrates Love at 100 and 96 Amidst D-Day Anniversary Celebrations in Normandy

Harold Terens, a 100-year-old man, married his 96-year-old fiancée Jeanne Swerlin in Normandy, France, on June 8 or Saturday. The wedding took place near the D-Day beaches and was held at the elegant stone-worked town hall of Carentan. This event coincided with the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings. According to Harold Terens, he feels "young again" and considers this the "best time of my entire life." The couple's ages made their nuptials an almost double-century celebration.
