UN Review: Palestinian Refugee Agency Faces Neutrality Concerns, Remains Indispensable

However, no supporting evidence has been provided by Israel for these claims. An independent review commissioned by the UN found that Israel never expressed concerns about specific staff members on the lists it received annually since 2011. The review also noted that UNRWA has robust procedures in place to uphold the UN principle of neutrality. The UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres accepted the recommendations from the independent review of UNRWA's ability to ensure neutrality.
