UK and US launch airstrikes against Houthi rebels in Yemen

Western forces took action after ships were attacked by the Houthis. The U.S. and British militaries launched strikes against Houthi targets early Friday. More than 12 sites, including in Sanaa and Hudaydah, were hit. The US Navy's Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles (TLAM) are low-flying cruise missiles capable of delivering a 1,000-pound conventional warhead hundreds of miles inland.
