UK PM lays out bid to become AI world leader

Premier Keir Starmer is set to unveil a comprehensive plan to establish the UK as the world leader in artificial intelligence, with the goal of unleashing AI across the entire country and harnessing its potential to drive growth and efficiency in the public sector. The plan, dubbed the "AI Opportunities Action Plan", comprises 50 recommendations aimed at streamlining regulations and attracting a significant influx of investment in AI technology to the UK, with the Prime Minister himself describing it as "the greatest force for change in the world right now".
