UK Government Conditions Israel Support Amidst Ongoing Crisis

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron has stated that the United Kingdom's support for Israel is not unconditional. He wrote in The Sunday Times that he expects Israel to adhere to international humanitarian law. This comes after a hardening of language from Cameron regarding the dire humanitarian situation in the Palestinian enclave. Additionally, following the deaths of three British citizens while they were working for World Central Kitchen, Cameron described their deaths as "tragic and avoidable" and issued a warning to Israel over its compliance with international law.
