Typhoon Haikui makes landfall in Taiwan, injuring more than 40 people
Typhoon Haikui made a second landfall early on Monday in southwestern Kaohsiung. It is the first big storm to directly hit the island in four years, lashing the south-east. More than 217,000 households lost power.
