Two sailors killed in Sydney to Hobart yacht race amid wild weather conditions

Two sailors lost their lives during the Sydney to Hobart yacht race due to separate incidents involving being struck by sail booms on their yachts. The victims, identified as Roy Quaden, 55, from Western Australia and Nick Smith, 65, from South Australia, died in the first night of the 628-nautical-mile-long race.
