According to recent reports, Donald Trump's legal team has been unsuccessful in securing a bond of over $464 million to cover a civil fraud judgment in New York. The judgment, which includes a fine of $454 million for Trump and additional penalties for his company and top executives, totals $557 million. Trump's lawyers have approached 30 underwriters but have been unable to find one willing to back the bond.
