Trump ordered to pay $355 million in New York civil fraud case
A New York judge, Arthur Engoron, has ordered Donald Trump to pay over $354.9 million in penalties for fraudulently overstating his net worth to deceive lenders. Trump and his eldest sons, Don Jr. and Eric, were also implicated in the case and have been fined. The judge additionally banned Trump from serving as an officer or director of any New York corporation for a period of three years. Trump's legal team has announced their intention to appeal the ruling.
