Trump Unveils Golden Dome Missile Defense Program with Space-Based Weapons

US President Donald Trump has announced the concept for a future Golden Dome missile defense program, with the goal of having a fully operational system in place before the end of his term in 2029. The system will utilize a combination of ground and space-based weapons to protect the United States from potential foreign strikes. Three options are currently being considered, although Trump has not yet made a decision.
