Toronto Floods: Drake's $100m Mansion Among Properties Hit by Record Rainfall

Rapper Drake's $100 million mansion, nicknamed The Embassy, was severely flooded due to record-breaking storms in Toronto. The flooding occurred during a summer storm that brought an unprecedented amount of rain, exceeding the typical July rainfall of 71 mm. Drake shared a video on Instagram showing ankle-deep muddy water rushing into part of his estate, jokingly commenting "This better be espresso martini." It is unclear how much of the property was affected by the flooding, but some reports suggest that only a portion of the 35,000-square-foot estate was submerged in floodwaters. The storm also left around 167,000 customers without power according to Toronto's electrical grid operator.
