Tornadoes Wreak Havoc Across Nebraska and Iowa, Leaving Trail of Destruction

A severe storm system has affected multiple states in the United States, producing strong tornadoes and damaging winds. The tornadoes were reported from Michigan to Texas, with areas of Oklahoma City, Kansas City, Dallas, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Austin being particularly affected. In Iowa, a large tornado was reported in the small city of Minden. In Nebraska, one of the most destructive storms moved into suburban areas northwest of Omaha, causing significant damage to homes. Video footage shows roofs stripped of shingles in rural areas near Omaha. The National Weather Service received at least 60 reports of tornadoes across five states as of 9:30 p.m. ET, with 19 damaging wind reports and 45 hail reports.
