Three men believed to have been missing surfers die from gunshot wounds in Mexico
Mexican authorities have discovered three bodies in the state of Baja California, which are believed to be those of three missing surfers from the US and Australia. The victims, Jack Carter Rhoad, a 30-year-old American, and brothers Callum and Jake Robinson, both 33 and 30 years old respectively, were on a surfing and camping trip when they went missing. According to reports, the men refused to surrender their vehicle to carjackers, which may have led to their murder. The bodies were found alongside their charred white pick-up truck, with authorities confirming that the three men died from gunshot wounds to the head. The incident occurred on April 27, when the trio set off for a few days of camping and failed to return, prompting relatives to raise an alarm.
I think the whole country's heart goes out to all of their loved ones. It has been an absolutely horrendous, absolutely horrific ordeal and our thoughts are with all of them today.
