Thousands protest against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu amid mounting pressure

There have been multiple protests against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in recent days, with tens of thousands of Israelis participating in rallies in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Be'er Sheva, Caesarea, and other cities. The protesters demanded the release of hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza after nearly six months of conflict. Netanyahu has vowed to destroy Hamas and bring all the hostages home. Netanyahu has been labeled an "obstacle to the deal" by some, with vows from the prime minister to persist until he leaves power. An Israeli delegation was scheduled to arrive in Cairo for talks on a cease-fire.
