Thousands of civilians dead in Sudan conflict over past year

The conflict in Sudan, which marked its first anniversary on Monday, has resulted in thousands of civilian deaths and displacement. According to a separate report by Burhan, nearly 16,000 people have been killed in violent clashes between the two warring parties.
